Firing Charges
Please note that firing charges are not included in the costs of our classes.
We charge S$4.50 per 100 grams of clay, which includes the use of clay, glazes, raw materials, as well as bisque and glaze firing. A minimum charge of S$4.50 applies to every finished product.
Regardless of course or level, firing charges will be included only if the art piece is fired at Ceramic House. If the unfired piece is taken away, we will calculate costs based on the market rate of the specific clay.
Our glazes are mixed by hand in the studio. Ceramic House offers use of both gas and electric kilns to produce beautiful ceramics of porcelain ware quality.
If you would like to engage our kiln firing services, glaze firing charges would be S$0.15 per 1 cubic inch of clay (minimum calculation of 2 inch height). A minimum charge of S$8 applies to every finished product.
